Woman – Warrior of Man and Nature, 2021

Commission for Writer & Poet Kashmira Bechoo’s poem ‘W.O.M.A.N – Warrior of Man and Nature’, was selected for publication in The Durban Review’s first women’s anthology: Drumbeats from Africa (2019).

Kashmira commissioned fine art student Amina Pagliari to create this bespoke canvas and bring the poem to life visually.

Both Kashmira and Amina are passionate about women’s empowerment and equality.

The piece was entered for a prize draw where all proceeds were donated to Women’s Aid UK
